After having met Shikma, it was clear that she was extremely knowledgeable pf all the possible programs that would meet my needs; however what I did not know is how diligent she would be in obtaining mortgage approval. I had unusual circumstances so when I felt doubtful, Shikma reassured me we were in this process together and she remained hopeful. As first time home buyers, Shikma was the best mortgage consultant we could ask for! Even before we officially started working with her, she took the time to meet at our local coffee shop one weekend to explain how different scenarios could work for us. Throughout the entire process, she always took the time to answer our questions - no matter how big or small - and seemed to genuinely enjoy teaching us about what we'd expect on closing day. Oh, and speaking of closing day, Shikma was there with us, even though she was 9 months pregnant - and then she went on to have her first little baby boy that night! Shikma is very knowledgeable about the entire mortgage process and is highly responsive. She got us pre-approved quickly and made the application process as easy as possible, keeping us updated on the status of our loan.
